The Inglis Historical site is getting ready to hold their "Elvis and Elevators" karaoke event at the Inglis Community Hall this Friday starting at 8 in the evening.
This fundraising event is coinciding with the painting of the UGG elevator going on this week.
Alvin Zimmer, a board member of the Inglis Historical Site, talks about the event.
“It starts at 8:00 and you have to have advance tickets,” notes Zimmer. “The tickets are $20 apiece and there will be a limit of 150 tickets sold because that is what the hall will hold here. As far as I know there is supposed to be two maybe three or four Elvis impersonators plus I think they have karaoke all set up and different people can sing.”
Donations are always welcome for the Inglis historical site.
