Mission Soup Kitchen opened up three days ago in Swan River.
The soup kitchen is located at 108 B 7th Avenue North behind the laundromat and serves lunch from noon until 2:00 p.m.
David Guldie notes the number of people who are utilizing the help provided.
“It started off with 10 people on the 1st opening day there were 10 people that came. On the second day 20 people came, and we’re not sure what to expect today.”
The Mission Soup Kitchen has been able to operate thank to a couple of fundraisers and will accept donations to help with the cause.
