The Manitoba Beef Forage Initiative is receiving $125,000 in funding from Co-op Community Spaces.
The Community spaces program funds recreation, environmental conservation and urban agriculture projects.
Raymona Blyth President of the board of directors for MBFI, talks about how the money helps the company and Manitoba farmers.
"Being able to build a Learning Center, it will create a hub for all producers to be able to come out and we will be able to run events and workshops and be able to showcase some of the work that we are doing."
Since 2015, Co-op Community Spaces has provided $4.5 million to over 60 projects across B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
