The Parkland Regional Library is celebrating National Film Day on April 19.
As part of the celebration a free viewing of the movie "The Grand Seduction" will be held at the library.
“National Canadian Film Day runs right across the country and it is a day to celebrate great Canadian films,” noted Jean-Louis Guillas, Director of the Parkland Regional Library and Dauphin Public Library. “So we are showing two separate things on the 19. At 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon we are going to show the feature film ‘The Grand Seduction’ and throughout the day we will be showing a series of short films by the National Film Board.”
Public libraries in Roblin, Grandview, Shoal Lake, Erickson, Hamiota and Rossburn will also be showing Canadian films as part of the celebration.
