Dauphin Arts Fest 2017 has officially arrived.
In celebration of Canada's 150th year of confederation, the art's festival will be featuring a number of adjudicated performing arts and visual arts in the community.
According to Co-Chair of the festival Martijn van Luijn, up and coming photographers may be interested in one particular event.
"We've gotten so used to digital photography now, that photographing with film seems old fashion although it's not that long ago [...] we have a very active volunteer who's totally aimed to using old cameras, and does it a lot he has his own dark room still and processes his old film the way we used to do it, and he's giving a workshop that if people want people can go back to that experience."
730 CKDM will be following the festival throughout the week as more events arise. Dauphin Arts Fest wraps up on Sunday, April 9th.
