Residents of Dauphin will have the chance tonight to see first hand the hard work put in by the Canadian Red Cross.
Red Cross volunteers the Dauphin and Swan River area will be at the Fire Hall from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm taking part in test exercises.
Spokesperson Jason Small says those who come and watch, will get to see volunteers work in a controlled environment.
"This is just a chance for those members to hone their skills. To practice what they do in a simulated scenario. It'll be set up where they'll be dealing with other volunteers who are playing the role of people who have just been displaced from their homes due to either a house fire or an apartment fire."
Small added that the Red Cross is always looking for more volunteers. For details on how to join, visit www.redcross.ca
