Two Brandon police officers have been charged following an investigation into an incident in which a person in custody was injured.
The Independent Invesigation Unit of Manitoba looked into a September 10th incident in which a person being transported in a cop car was hurt.
The individual allegedly hit their head on the interior of the car, causing a cut above their eye; the car was also allegedly hit from behind by another car while en route.
One officer has been charged with driving carelessly. The other is charged with driving imprudently.
Both officers are scheduled to appear in Brandon Provincial Court April 6th.
