Final numbers have been released for the Dauphin R.I.D.E Program for 2016, and the numbers show it to be a success.
A total of fifty volunteers sacrificed their time throughout the month of December. 399 passengers were transported over 196 trips.
In all, 875 hours were put in by the volunteers, which is a slight decrease from previous years, but that's in large part due to Christmas and Boxing Day falling on nights where R.I.D.E was not in operation.
However, the fifty volunteers is still six more than the program had last year.
