It was a late start to the off-season for a strawberry farm near Dauphin.
Leanne Williamson of the Scenic Ridge Berry Farm west of Dauphin says it was a long, beautiful fall, but it was wet, and she was still weeding in November. And she's not sure what to expect come the spring.
"We had a superabundance of rain out here this year and going into the fall, or going into the winter, our soil was supersaturated... I'm kind of interested in seeing what will happen this coming spring."
Williamson says they have planted a brand new field that they have high hopes for.
