With Canada celebrating it's 150th birthday this year, Riding Mountain National Park is doing their part to welcome any and all visitors to the park throughout the year.

RMNP will be offering year-round programming, with plenty of new activities available as well.

Visitor Experience Manager Dave Tovell says that entrance to the park will not force you to 'break the bank.'

"You still require a national park pass to come and visit, but between January 1st, and December 31st, these parks passes are free. You can pick them up at the entrance gate a the visitor center. You can order them online, you can go to pc.gc.ca you can get them in advance. But if you want to wait, you can get them in May if you want as well."

Along with RMNP, all other National Parks in Canada will have free entrance throughout the year.
