A Manitoba man is seriously injured after being attacked with a machete, according to police.
RCMP say a 43-year-old man sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries at the hands of three males when he investigated activity in his home's detached garage in the southwest area of Niverville some time before 1:40 this morning.
Police say the three males had their faces covered and one of them struck the homeowner with a machete.
The investigation continues, and police are asking for information from the public. Police say the suspects fled, and it isn't known if they were in a vehicle or on foot.
