A Dauphin man is accused of making fake $50 bills.
39-year-old Jayson Scott Larry McDougall is charged with the making of counterfeit money.
RCMP searched a home in the City of Dauphin Tuesday and arrested McDougall, while seizing a $50 bill and a computer.
A Dauphin business reported to police on Monday that it had received counterfeit money. Police identified a suspect through security video. According to police, investigators learned a Dauphin financial institution was also in possession of counterfeit $50 bills.
The investigation continues.
