Police say a young Manitoba man has died in a snowmobile accident.
According to RCMP, a 21-year-old man from the RM of Tache had been at a residence in Ile Des Chenes on Monday, and left for home on his snowmobile around 10:30 at night. Family members looked for the man when he didn't return. He was found the next day in a ditch on Provincial Road 207.
Police say he was wearing a helmet but it was extremely cold, with low visibility and heavy blowing snow on that night.
The investigation into the cause of the collision continues.
