In an attempt to boost the attendance rate at their school, the DRCSS introduced a perfect attendance program in its 2014/15 academic year, and now, its a massive success.
Teacher Patty Goodine says there's between 100 to 150 students with perfect attendance, which is a 25 per cent increase from last year.
Goodine spoke with CKDM today, and talked about how they are rewarding students with perfect attendance.
"What we started to do was look for sponsors from the community to give incentives. We've been really fortunate to have some great support from the community, and the gifts they are donating are very generous."
Some of those sponsors include Twin Motors, Re/Max, and Prairie Supply Co.
