The province has released their 2016 Fall Conditions Report, highlighting record amounts of rain.
The report notes flood forecasts looking at six primary factors when assessing long-term prospects for potential floods or droughts in the spring and summer.
When asked about rising water levels in the Parkland, Infrastructure Minister Blane Pedersen says they are monitoring the situation.
"It's no surprise to anyone that the soil moisture and river flows in your area that with the extreme precipitation you had through particularly October and into November... we'll continue to monitor river flows throughout the winter and see where it takes us, and that's just one of the factors we'll take into consideration into spring."
The community of Mossey River is currently under a state of emergency due to the potential of flooding.
