You have only a few days left before the pool at the Rec Center closes for a month.
For you swimmers in Dauphin, the community pool at the Kinsmen Aquatic Center will be closing on Sunday for construction, as they add a new water slide.
The pool area will be closed for the majority of the month of December, but are hopeful to have the pool re-opened between Christmas and New Years.
Ryan Vanderheyden is the General Manager of Dauphin Rec Services, and says that the closing of the pool is for more than just adding a water slide.
"It's not just the water slide, we're doing a full paint of the pool, and we're doing a full clean, and everything that goes along with a pool closure. So, we're hoping that, when we open again, it will be like going to a new pool."
Saturdays free swim is the last day the pool will be open before the construction begins.
