Students and faculty were treated with a special breakfast this morning at Henderson Elementary school.
In collaboration with the local Lions Club and McDonald's, families of students were able to indulge in the school's first pancake breakfast.
Principal Ronda Casavant says all left over pancakes will be used towards their own going breakfast program.
"Any student at Henderson that maybe didn't have enough time in the morning, maybe they woke up late and they just didn't have enough time to eat enough breakfast or have breakfast at all they are able to come into the school and we have staff available who are serving breakfast."
Henderson's breakfast program runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 8:30 am.
