November marks the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Parkland Crisis Centre is doing their part to raise awareness.
Throughout the month of November, purple drop off boxes will be located in Dauphin for those who wish to donate.
Kari Prawdzik, the Executive Director of the Parkland Crisis Centre says that any donation, big or small helps.
"Women and children often arrive at the shelters with just the clothes on their back, so were asking the communities to help us wrap victims experiencing domestic violence in new warm pj's, socks, and bathrobes for the entire month of November."
There are 10 domestic violence emergency shelters across Manitoba.
