Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School's attendance incentive program is back for a third year.
In the programs first two years, the school awarded a car to a student with perfect attendance -- but now, students can win more than just a car.
Principal Norman Casavant says "Businesses we thought would never want to be part of it, but they're now saying to us "yes, we'll give you $500 to go and purchase items within the community." It's beyond what we thought it would become."
Since it's inception, the schools attendance rate has gone up 75 percent.
