As overland flooding continues in the Parkland, the area begins to take on another challenge.
Beginning early this morning, light snow has fallen around the region expected to change into rain by this afternoon.
Reeve Blake Price for the RM of Gilbert Plains advises residents to drive cautiously while on the roads today.
"What were suggesting right now is I guess for people to apply a little bit of common sense out there, these roads are soft what we don't need on there right now is a lot of heavy truck traffic... we're going into fall, we don't want these roads all rutted up and then have freeze up come upon us and then we're dealing with this all winter."
Environment Canada says there's a 60 percent chance of flurries for tomorrow morning.
