Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after RCMP stopped a vehicle in the RM of St. Clements for allegedly speeding.
The stop happened around 3 am last Monday on Highway 59.
RCMP say officers found baggies of white powder believed to be cocaine on the driver. Police also allege the driver was deceitful in regards to his identity when the initial investigation began.
21-year-old Zuhair Mohammad, 20-year-old Delano Wilson, and 29-year-old Awrangzaib Seerat, all of Winnipeg, have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Wilson and Mohammad are also charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
The three are due in court October 13.
