The Tragically Hip's music will be coming to Dauphin.
Beginning tomorrow at 7:30 pm, The Dauphin and District Allied Arts Council will be presenting Locally Hip - a tribute show dedicated to the Canadian Rock Icons.
Watson Art Centre Program Committee Member, Cam Bennet says the unfortunate news about Hip frontman Gord Downie influenced their decision to hold a tribute show.
"About tow years ago the Watson put on a tribute to Johnny Cash that was really well received by the community, and I've been sort of thinking about you know what kind of tribute show could we do kind of thing... and then when the unfortunate news came out about Gord Downie, I thought you know what we should do a Hip tribute."
It was announced earlier this summer that Downie was diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer.
Showtime is 8 pm, tickets are $25 dollars each.
