WestJet Cancelling Brandon/Toronto Route

WestJet won't be offering direct Brandon-to-Toronto flights this winter.

In late July, following a trial period for the service, WestJet said it would offer the route year-round beginning in late-October.

But the City of Brandon says it's been told by the airline that bookings for the service have been slow and the route has been canceled altogether.

Those who already have flights booked will be contacted by WestJet directly to make alternate arrangements.
