Tornado Displaces Residents of Waywayseecappo
Dozens of people in Waywayseecappo had to leave their homes when a destructive tornado came through yesterday.
Several homes were damaged but no injuries have been reported.
Chief Murray Clearsky said one of the seven homes was completely destroyed, and about 70 people were forced to seek shelter elsewhere.
The tornado also tipped over a school bus.
The Canadian Red Cross was sending volunteers to nearby Russell to provide food and housing.
According to Environment Canada, twisters also touched down in Binscarth, Rossburn, and Elphinstone.

Bridge Work On the Way for Dauphin Area
Expect a lot of construction on bridges in Dauphin area in the coming years.
Ruth Eden, executive director of structures with Manitoba Infrastructure, says we'll be seeing them a lot over the next few years.
"We have a lot of work in the Dauphin area. A lot on number 5, there's bridges on number 5 and number 20 and 20A. So there's a restricted bridge right now on 20A, I believe, it's the one at Edward's Creek, so that one we're going to be working on, and then there's a few more."
The bridge at Shell River on PTH 5 is now done and open to traffic. The plan as of Friday was to have the bridge at Drifting River on Highway 10 open early this week. The bridge on Highway 20 at Fork River is delayed a bit, but they're hoping to have it up-and-running by the end of August.

Stranger Helps Pregnant Woman Get to Hospital to Deliver Baby
A Manitoba man says a kind stranger helped his pregnant wife make it to hospital to deliver a healthy baby boy -- and the couple would love to find him again to thank him for the ride.
Shane Wall says his wife Darlene was 12 days overdue when they headed to Winnipeg early yesterday from a rural area south of the city, but hit a deer along the way, which caused their car to break down.
After several passing vehicles ignored Wall's frantic waves for help, someone finally stopped and gave them a lift to St. Boniface hospital.
Darlene gave birth to a boy they've named Gunnar -- and she's relieved she didn't have to deliver him in the car.

Delta Has Some Catching Up to Do
Delta Air Lines' computer systems are working again, but the Atlanta-based airline now has to accommodate tens of thousands of passengers whose flights were scrubbed yesterday.
Delta now says it cancelled about one-thousand flights, and had 29-hundred others delayed -- some for hours -- after yesterday's power outage at its headquarters caused many computer systems to crash.
