Amaranth RCMP are searching for 61-year-old Leslie Gordon Levasseur of Sandy Bay First Nation who hasn't been seen since yesterday.
Police say they were first alerted about the Levasseur being in potential medical distress inside a vehicle on a road on Highway 16 approximately 2 miles west of Westbourne.
When police arrived on scene, Levasseur walked away from the vehicle and into a roadside ditch.
Levasseaur is described as an aboriginal male, 5'10, medium build with silver grey hair, last seen in a ponytail.
Police say Levasseaur has a medical condition that can result in confusion and disorientation.
