Sandy Lake will be in full spirit this weekend as they host this year's Western Days.
The festivities kicks off Friday including a number of new features and live performances.
Chair Person for Western Days, Les Lewandoski says one new feature being unveiled was much needed. He added, "Our old pier was kind of falling apart... so through the business association and some other individuals who have joined a committee, they have actually went and installed a new pier."
The first Western Days was started by Loretta Wolski at the Sandy Lake Personal Care Home in the early 1990s.
