Environment Canada is calling for heavy rain in parts of Saskatchewan over the next couple days, but Estevan is in a state of emergency after already getting a massive downpour.

At least 130 millimetres of rain fell on the city during a storm yesterday, which caused roads and basements to flood in minutes.

Some special weather statements in Saskatchewan have ended, but some remain. Environment Canada says there will be more rain in Estevan -- up to 50 millimetres more by Wednesday. Some parts of the province could get up to 100 millimetres in that time.

The system is expected to move into Manitoba by early Wednesday.

Funnel clouds and heavy rain were also reported in eastern Saskatchewan late last week.
