If you have walked in the underpass here in Dauphin, you may have noticed that it's been painted a lot brighter.
The Dauphin Friendship Centre summer staff members spent 19 hours over a period of four days to paint the mural to try and brighten it up and to make it less likely to get vandalized.
CAO for the City of Dauphin, Brad Collett says they do have plans to re-do the underpass.
"We won't be fixing it this year, we do have an amount budgeted to do the engineering study to figure out what if anything can be done to rehabilitate the underpass. But, it shouldn't have an impact on the mural this year."
DFC summer youth coordinator, Gwenan Guillas says they have been receiving a lot of positive comments about the project.
