Even though they are two provinces away, the servers at Corrina's Resturaunt are wanting to do what they can to help out people who were affected by the Fort McMurray wildfire.
Today all servers are giving all of their tips that they make to give to the Canadian Red Cross.
Corrina Abrey, owner says she is really proud and warm-hearted with her servers.
"I was pretty much moved to tears when Courtney first came to me and asked me if we could do this. So i'm very proud of them. I'm glad that they want to help."
Monica Catcheway, server at Corrina's says, any bit that they can do can go along way.
"It's just nice to know that you have someone there to help you out whether it's you know $100 or a couple hundred dollars, you know it definitely gets you ahead and you know just to give back."
Usually every second Friday they give their tips to the Dauphin Food Bank, but today they decided to switch it up.
As of 4pm today, they had raised over $300.
