Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Dauphin and a large portion of Southern Manitoba.
Around 15-20 cm of snow is expected to fall in Dauphin as the Montana low makes its way across the province.
The snowfall has also already led to several cancellations.
Mountainview School Division sent bus students home early today, with buses picking up the students at 1 pm.
Gilbert Plains Municipality has closed its Municipal Office and Waste Disposal Site for the day as of 12 noon.
An Arthritis workshop slated for today in Gilbert Plains has also been postponed.
Dauphin Active Living Centre has postponed its History night scheduled for this evening due to the snowfall. No word on if or when it will be rescheduled.
Dauphin Rec Hockey has cancelled ice times for its U10 and U14 junior division teams for tonight.
Ste Rose Auction Mart has already cancelled its regular cattle sale originally set for tomorrow (Thursday). Their regular cattle sale will resume next week, and anyone wanting to get their livestock into that sale is encouraged to contact Myles at 204-447-2266.
