Our first Rotary Radio Week feature this morning profiled the Rotary Fall Book Fair, which this year is set for November 7th to 9th at the Ukrainian Orthodox Hall.
Book donations can be dropped off at the hall beginning this Friday, with proceeds going towards youth-related programs through Rotary.
Local Rotarian Jean-Louis Guillas says the book fairs draw in shoppers from all over the place.
"We have regular shoppers that come in from McCreary, Laurier, and Ste Rose to the east, all the way down to Brandon. People come because if you are a book shopper, and some books are out of print, used sales are the only places that you can find them. And you can not argue with our prices, most of our books are two dollars or less."
The book fair goes from 9 am to 7 pm on November 7th and 8th, and from 9-4 on the 9th.
This year, the Crocus Quilters group will also be on site all three days to show off their work.
