Two men and a female are facing a slew of charges after a traffic stop in Dauphin late last week.
On Friday at about 4:00 p.m., officers from the Dauphin Detachment pulled over a vehicle on Main Street. The driver, a 34-year-old man from Ebb and Flow First Nation was in conversation with the officer. During this, drug paraphernalia was seen in the vehicle. As a result, he and his two passengers, a 46-year-old man and a 39-year-old female, both of Ebb and Flow First Nation, were placed under arrest and put into RCMP cruisers.
28 games of cocaine were located and seized along with cash, bear spray, a machete and other drug-related paraphernalia.
The trio from Ebb and Flow were released and will be in court on November 28. They face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
