Mark your calendars, the walk for Alzheimer's is coming back again to Dauphin.
This year's walk is going to be a little different as there is a new starting point. Historically it's been at the senior centre, but this year the starting point is going to be at CN Park.
Wanda Sime, Parkland Regional Coordinator for the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba says she's excited about the new location.
"I want to hopefully kind of make it a little bit bigger and kind of give it more to the community because it's not just for the individuals with Alzheimer's it's also for people who truly want to support it. So i'm pretty excited to have the expanded location."
Registration starts at 6:30pm and the walk starts at 7pm on June 21st. But before hand, there will be a BBQ hosted by the Dauphin Masons starting at 3:30.
