March 20th is the next scheduled court date for a Swan River man arrested following a violent home invasion and robbery in that community.
22-year-old Alex Ames was arrested several days after the incident, which occurred on January 13th.
RCMP says on that day, a male suspect broke into a home and is alleged to have assaulted a 39-year-old woman while both she and her child were sleeping.
The suspect then reportedly threatened the victim with a firearm, before stealing money, vehicle keys and other possessions.
