Christmas Eve is right around the corner, and the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) is gearing up for an annual tradition.
since 1955, NORAD has dedicated its services each Christmas Eve to keep tabs on the big man in the red suit after a child called an unlisted number trying to reach the North Pole.
For the past 68 years, NORAD has run this program to keep the mystery of Christmas abound, and in recent years has even made a web page to track Santa Christmas as well.
You can find this web tracker on NORADsanta.org and starting at 4 am (standard mountain time) you can also call 1 877 446 6723 to ask NORAD about Santa's current location.
Captain Scott Swagler is posted in Alaska this holiday season, and he's part of the team making this magic happen. he has some recommendations for all the kids and parents who're excited for Santa to come.
"We don't know Santa's path every year, but we do track him. What we do know, is that historically is that Santa tends to visit houses between 9pm and midnight. so if it's getting close to 9pm, kids need to be getting to bed"
So from everyone here at CKDM, we wish you a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
