The City of Brandon says work continues to repair the damage done to its Civic Services Complex from a natural explosion at the facility in early September.
The work, which is expected to take several months to complete., includes stabilizing walls, repairing the roof, and waterproofing the building.
Since the building can not be used for city operations while the repairs are being done, the City of Brandon has secured a temporary location on Park Avenue East which they say will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4:30.
Brandon Public Works and other internal city departments will be housed in the new location until repairs to the City Services Complex are completed.
An investigation into the cause of the September 7th blast is ongoing.
