A 22-year-old man from Valley River First Nation is facing an attempted murder charge after an alleged incident that police say followed an argument.
 
Prairie Mountain RCMP received a report of a male shooting a firearm at a Valley River home around 4:30 on the morning of November 28.
 
Police say investigation revealed that after an argument, a man fired a shotgun through a window at another man. Police say the intended victim ran but was chased and fired at several more times.
 
Adam Barry Gordon McKay has been charged with attempt murder, break and enter with intent, dangerous driving, two counts of assault, five firearm related charges, as well as three counts of breach of undertaking. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court December 15.
 
The victim was not injured by any of the shots.
