A Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School alumni association is in the works.
Committee member Gord Wood says it's a way to give back to the school and recognize former staff and students.
"We do have our Hall of Excellence here, and so I think part of that, in establishing the Hall of Excellence, there's a lot of talk that's been spurred on from that about alumni and recognizing people that have possibly been graduates of Dauphin Regional."
An organizational meeting is scheduled for October 21 at 7 in the multi purpose room of the DRCSS.
To raise funds, ripped up pieces of the old gym floor are going to be given out for donations to the DRCSS alumni association.
Wood says nothing's carved in stone yet but the intent is to have a sort of tiered system.
