The 30th anniversary of the Vermillion Archers’ outdoor 3-D Shoot is this Sunday at the Selo site.

The course is about 3 quarters of a mile long and is made up of 20 targets.

The targets are in the shape of life-sized animals. The targets are made of specialized rubber foam that holds the arrow.

Terry Wareh, president of Vermillion Archers, says there’s a variety of topography with uphill, downhill, and riverside shots and the venue is one of the best in the province just because of the topography.

For safety reasons, he says they like to see adults go out with the younger kids on the course if they aren’t shooting. He adds that the targets are set up in a way to avoid shooting at someone else.

Registration is from 8:30 - 10:30 Sunday morning, if you'd like to take part, you need your own equipment.
