Three Parkland Volleyball clubs are in Winnipeg this weekend for the Western Canadian Championships.

 

Volleyball Manitoba is holding a massive tournament, the first of its size, in Winnipeg this weekend. In total 86 (56 girls, 30 boys) teams will be competing on 11 courts over the weekend. The Parkland will be represented by three clubs from the area.

The Parkland Vipers will compete in Pool F of Division I. (Finish 4th in Pool F)

- Lost first match in 2 sets to JCVC Red (SK), 25-21 and 25-23

- Lost second match in 2 sets to PRVC Revolution Green (AB), 25-21, and 26-24

- Lost third match in 2 sets to Crush Orange, 25-20, and 25-12

The Russel Club Volleyball Crush have entered two teams, an Orange team competing in Pool F of Division I, and a Purple team competing in Pool K of Division II. (Orange: 2nd in Pool F. Purple: 1st in Pool K)

- Crush Orange lost first match in 2 sets to PRVC Revolution Green (AB), 29-27, and 25-12

- Crush Purple win first match in 3 sets against Ace Aces (AM), 25-15, 21-25, and 16-14

- Crush Orange win second match in 2 sets against JCVC Red (SK), 25-16, and 25-10

- Crush Purple win second match in 2 sets against Neepawa SMASH, 25-10, and 25-18

- Crush Orange win third match in 2 sets against Parklsnd Vipers, 25-20, and 25-12

- Crush Purple win third match in 3 sets against TSAVC Calgary White (AB), 25-23, 14-25, and  15-11

The Neepawa SMASH will compete in Pool K of Division II. (Finished 4th in Pool K)

- Lost first match in 2 sets to TSAVC Calgary White (AB), 25-15, and 25-13

- Lost second match in 2 sets against Crush Purple, 25-10, and 25-18

- Lost third match in 2 sets against Ace Aces (AB), 25-20, and 25-15 

 

No boys teams are present.
