It took until the final week of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League campaign, but a Dauphin King has finally been recognized as player of the week.

 

Eighteen year old forward Kirklan Lycar won the accolade Monday afternoon after putting up two goals and five assists in three games for the Kings.

The former Eastman Select is currently on a four game point streak (3G, 3A) and is the top scorer on Dauphin with 53 points (23G, 20A).

Twenty year olds Cole Smith of the Steinbach Pistons and Brayden Atkinson of the Neepawa Natives were the runners up for the award.

The Dauphin Kings are in OCN Tuesday night to take on the Blizzard, listen to the tilt on CKDM starting at 7:00pm!
