Jarrett Newton survived a playoff to win his 11th championship at the Roblin Golf & Country Club.

Playing in the Moonshine Daze Men's Open over the weekend, Newton drained a 30 footer for birdie on the 18th hole to force a playoff against Chad Facey. Both players shot a 72. Then in the playoff, Newton made a two-putt par on the first hole while Facey made a bogey as Newton won his 11th club championship.

Chad Jones finished in third, just one stroke back of a playoff after a round of 73. Brayden Dube, who sent the Dauphin Kings to the national championship, put together a solid round of 75 to finish in fifth, one stroke behind Shawn McQuarrie of the Gilbert Plains Country Club. 

John Tomlinson, also of the Gilbert Plains Country Club, won first in the first flight with a round of 79, Ken Schulz shot 80 to win second in the first flight while Butch Fleury also shot an 80 to place third.
