An apartment building in Selkirk is a total loss due to fire.
RCMP say the building on Mercy Street was unoccupied but the fire caused an evacuation of an adjacent apartment building.
Police say the adjacent building sustained minimal damage.
The fire broke out early Tuesday morning. Nobody was hurt.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner is assisting with the investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Selkirk RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
