10 to 20 cm of snow is forecast to fall in Central Manitoba including in the Swan River area.
Environment Canada says the snow began falling over west central Manitoba and will spread southeastward over the province this morning.
Blowing snow can reduce visibilities below 1 km in some areas.
The snow will taper off by tonight.
There are no alerts for the Dauphin area.
