A 15 million dollar upgrade to Cargill’s grain facility northwest of Brandon is expected to add 9 thousand metric tonnes of storage space.
The upgrades to the grain facility in Oakner will allow it to receive grain more quickly and handle more railcars.
Cargill says the project will provide better market access for customers, particularly for soybean growers.
Construction is set to begin next month.
