If you have an opinion on some of the logging activities going on in the Duck Mountain Area, Louisiana Pacific is hosting open houses next week.
The company is looking for feedback from residents to help them establish their annual plan.
Paul LeBlanc, LP District Forester, talked about the purpose of the open houses:
“At the open houses we’re looking at a plan of forest management, which is roads and crossings and harvesting and renewal all combined for the next two years,” explained LeBlanc.
Starting next week meetings are to be held in Roblin, Grandview, Ethelbert and Swan River.
