High Speed Internet improvements are on the way to the Parkland.
As part of an announcement made by the provincial government, $83.9 million dollars is being invested in the upgrades.
RFNOW CEO, Scott Andrew, talks about his company’s role in the areas that they will be providing the upgrades to.
“The federal government and the Province of Manitoba and Clear Sky Communications, which is where our company comes in, announced a 63 million dollar investment that will serve many of the Parkland region’s communities in Russell, Swan River, Binscarth, Roblin and so on,” noted Andrew. “Phase one of our build will be heading right by those communities and many other of the Parkland region communities will be in phases to come later.”
112 remote Manitoba communities that have disruptive service will be receiving improvements.
