2017 was the second busiest year on record for the Dauphin Fire Department.
A total of 231 incidents were responded to with a total of 6325 hours spend on duty.
The Household Hazardous Waste Day was the busiest ever with 750 pounds of alkaline batteries picked up.
Firefighters also logged a total of 2926 hours in training and volunteering.
