Hazy conditions throughout the Parkland area could last for a couple days.
Natalie Hasell, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, says a system blowing in from the Northwest Territories isn't going to improve the situation, and estimates it could take until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning for the sky to clear.
Hasell says the haze is mostly the result of wildfires, the bulk of which are burning uncontrollably in Saskatchewan right now.
She also advises anyone who suffers from cardiovascular or lung complications to find a safe area from the smoky conditions as they could exacerbate the issue.
Hasell extends that warning for seniors and small children.
