Dauphin will be receiving the MRI machine as confirmed by Health Minster Goertzen and Local MLA Brad Michaleski today in a teleconference.
There is currently no time frame as to when it will arrive as they are waiting for the machine to be built and then shipped.
Community investment played a huge part in the decision along with MLA Michaleski’s advocating for the cause.
Dauphin’s MRI machine costs approximately 2 million dollars and the housing unit costs approximately $6 million dollars.
